Stained Glass Butterfly Sun Catcher
Stained Glass Butterfly Sun Catcher
I make a lot of my snake plants and succulents. Like... a lot. I came up with this stained glass butterfly design in the middle of fulfilling a massive amount of plant orders. I needed a little break. I needed something different. Something simple and elegant to take my mind briefly off of lovely green plants.
I am LOVING the result of that little break. These butterflies are made using the copper foil method of stained glass. They measure approximately 8.5” at its widest point and approximately 6.75” tall. The antenna are made using a pliable 20 gauge wire. I’ve attached a ring and faux suede cord for hanging, and each butterfly is finished in a shiny black patina.
