Sleepy Bats Stained Glass Bat Sun Catcher

Sleepy bats! I love these Sleeping Bat stained glass sun catchers so much. I’ve had bat ideas whirling in my head since Halloween 2020 but didn’t get a chance to make any then. Well, I’ve finally gotten around to it!

I’ve got 3 color variations (so far):

•Opaque black — zero light shines through this glass. It makes a perfect black silhouette hanging in the window.

•Iridescent opaque black — zero light shines through this glass but the front reflects beautiful iridescent colors. (Be advised that I each bat will reflect colors differently than what is picture. You may end up with pink or green or orange or blue or any combination.)

•Black baroque on clear — Very see through. Distorted with swirled of black texture.

These bats are made using the copper foil method of Stained Glass. They measure approximately 8.5” long and 3” at its widest point. It’s is finished in a shiny silver, and I’ve attached a ring and faux suede cord for hanging.
